If you’re a fan of standup comedy, this show is for you! Comics Watching Comics is a show where intermediate standup comedians vie to win a spot on a showcase at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. These comedians will be judged by other tenured comics; serving as panelists and judges, offering jokes and advice.
The audience via social media (Twitter, IG, and Facebook) will vote to bring a panelist back the following week. Think, “Last Comic Standing” meets “Mystery Science Theater 3000.”
Comics Watching Comics first appeared on Youtube on March 2015 and then made the transition to Amazon Video on 9/2017. The show has completed 6 seasons; all of which SHOULD (hey, these glitches happen more than I want to) air on Amazon in Winter 2018. The Live showcase will be up in late Winter-Early Spring 2018. Seasons 7 and 8 will tape in March so they should be airing Summer 2018.

Kevin Gootee has been in standup comedy for over 8 years. He dreams of being a tv and game show host where since the age of 5, he’s been practicing by saying, “A BRAAAAAAND NEW CARRR!”
He has performed at Caroline’s Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Standup NY, Levity Live, the Stand, Greenwich Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, NY Comedy Club, The Stress Factory, Governorn’s Comedy Club, The Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, Southpoint Casino in Las Vegas, Dangerfield’s, the Comedy Cove, and other clubs/venues as well as private gigs all across the country. He also hosted the inaugural and subsequent shows during the
“Meadowlands Comedy Festival.”
Kevin is also a voice over artist that has appeared in commercials for Trident gum, Musselman’s Applesauce, HSBC Bank, American Express, Helluva Good Dip, and Autotrader.
